This homeowner’s vibrant love for the psychedelic, animated flair of ’80s and ’90s cartoons played a bold role in shaping the overall color story of the space. It’s rare to find a client so passionate about color—so fearless in its exuberant use—that the design challenge shifts from introducing boldness to balancing its brilliance. Lighting became our greatest ally—not only in showcasing the homeowner’s impressive art collection, but also in amplifying the palette itself. It allowed fiery reds to glow with intensity, and the coolest blues to sway in harmony with the mellow grooves pouring from the vintage Paragon speaker cabinet.

With a rich, layered collection of art and furniture built over time, our task was to weave in modern silhouettes that could hold their own while creating a dialogue with the beloved vintage pieces. The result? A dynamic space that feels like a duet between a hard rock ballad and a Beethoven sonata—bold, refined, and utterly unique. It’s a home that doesn’t just reflect its inhabitant’s taste, but pulses with their energy.
